Immunizations
Vaccines are one of the most effective ways to protect yourself, your family, and the community from serious diseases. Dodge County Public Health offers routine and catch-up immunizations for children and adults to ensure everyone has access to the protection they need—regardless of insurance status.
Who We Serve
We are a proud provider of the Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Vaccines for Adults (VFA) programs, offering free vaccines to individuals who are:
- Uninsured
- Underinsured
- Medicaid-eligible
- American Indian or Alaska Native
We also offer select private-pay vaccine options for those who do not qualify for state programs.
Vaccines for Children (VFC)
The VFC program provides vaccines to children 18 years and younger who meet eligibility criteria. Available vaccines include:
- DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis)
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Hib (Haemophilus influenzae type b)
- HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
- Influenza (Flu)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Meningococcal (MenACWY and MenB)
- Polio (IPV)
- Pneumococcal (PCV13, PPSV23)
- Rotavirus
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis for older children)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
Vaccines for Adults (VFA)
The VFA program helps eligible adults 19 years and older receive recommended vaccines at no cost. Available vaccines include:
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- HPV (up to age 26)
- Influenza (Flu)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Meningococcal (MenACWY and MenB)
- Pneumococcal (PCV20, PPSV23)
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- COVID-19 (as available and eligible)
