JUNEAU — Dodge County is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Krakow to Highway Finance Manager.

Krakow brings more than 14 years of government finance experience to her new role. She most recently served as Senior Accountant for the County, where she played a key role in fund accounting and the annual budget process.

Prior to joining Dodge County in 2021, Krakow worked for the City of Oconomowoc as a Finance–Treasury Clerk for nearly a decade. She began her career as an Accounts Payable Specialist with Bethesda Lutheran in Watertown, where she built a strong foundation in financial operations and customer service.

In her new position, Krakow will oversee financial management functions for the Highway Division, supporting infrastructure planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance efforts that are essential to maintaining safe and reliable county roadways.

“Jenny brings so much to the position, 14 years of government experience, accounting expertise, and a positive, servant-leader mindset,” said Nathan Thiel, Director of Finance and Administration. “We are extremely fortunate that Jenny stepped up to serve in this position, and she has already helped to build bridges and positive relationships between Finance and Highway. I am excited to see her continue to advance our teams and processes, and I know she will be a benefit to Dodge County as a whole.”

Krakow holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Ashford University and an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Madison Area Technical College.

As Highway Managerial Accountant, Krakow will work closely with division leadership and the Finance team to strengthen financial transparency, support operational efficiency, and ensure responsible stewardship of public resources.
