Dodge and Jefferson Counties Seek Resident Input on Mental Wellbeing

Dodge County Public Health and Jefferson County Health Department are asking residents to share their voices in a new survey designed to better understand what factors most affect mental wellbeing in our communities.

The survey is open to all Dodge and Jefferson County residents and focuses on the “vital conditions” that influence overall health and quality of life, such as housing, access to food, transportation, education, social connection, and a healthy environment. By identifying which conditions most impact local residents, health officials can better target resources and strategies that support long-term mental wellbeing.

This survey is an important opportunity for our residents to tell us what really matters to them. We want to hear directly from our communities so that we can prioritize the issues that have the greatest impact on people’s everyday lives.

Survey results will play a key role in completing the Community Health Assessment and guiding the Community Health Improvement Plan, which will outline future initiatives to address mental wellbeing across both counties.
