Harnischfeger Park

Harnischfeger Park (132 acres) is the largest Dodge County Park. The park is located in southeastern Dodge County along the Rock River in the Town of Lebanon approximately one mile west of the unincorporated community of Ashippun and eight miles east of Watertown. The park features diverse terrain, vegetation, and amenities, offering visitors a wide range of recreational opportunities in a beautiful natural setting.

Two open-air pavilions and a clubhouse provide ideal venues for gatherings such as family reunions, graduation celebrations, weddings, and corporate events. Camping options include eight electric campsites with water hookups and one non-electric group site.

Visitors can enjoy both active and passive recreation, with several miles of trails suitable for hiking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Additional features include a sledding hill, fishing spots, a mini-golf course, disc golf, volleyball court, playgrounds, and a Gaga Ball pit.

Water enthusiasts can also take advantage of a nearby launch area where canoes and kayaks are available for rent.
