GIS

The Dodge County Geographical Information System (GIS) is administered under the Land Information Division of the Land Resources and Parks Department. The primary purpose is to respond to the mapping and spatial analysis needs of the department as well as various other County departments and municipalities. 

The main duties of the GIS section are:

1. Develop, build, and maintain a database of geographically referenced datasets and their characteristics.
2. Create maps and derives statistics from the database.
3. Perform technical geographic analyses using the database.
4. Train County staff in using GIS technology.
