About Dodge County's sealed bid process - NOT AN AUCTION: 

• Available parcels are purchased "as-is". No open houses or walk-throughs.
• Read the Legal Notice (posted here when available)
• Read the HOW TO BID |TERMS AND CONDITIONS | BID FORM approved 11-16-23 (link will be live when parcels are available to bid on)
• Submit the Bid Form WITH 10% of the bid amount (cash, money order or certified check ONLY).
• The Taxation Committee of the county board opens sealed bids at their meeting.

UNSUCCESSFUL bidders are notified the day after the Taxation Committee meets, by phone and the 10% of the bid money returned.

SUCCESSFUL bidders are notified the next day by phone and email and must pay, within two (2) weeks (10 business days) of notification date by Dodge County or forfeit their deposit.

• Within ninety (90) days of timely payment (cash, money order or certified check ONLY) to Dodge County of the balance due, plus a separate $30.00 recording fee (cash, money order or certified check ONLY) payable to “Dodge County Register of Deeds”, the Dodge County Clerk will execute and record a Quit Claim Deed and mail the same, along with a receipt for the payments made, to the successful bidder.
• After full payment is made, liens/judgments are extinguished, and delinquent taxes/fees are written, before the Quit Claim deed is recorded.
• Do not contact Treasurer or Corporation Counsel until after the 90 days has elapsed.
