Become a Stream Monitor

Looking for a way to protect your local waterways? Become a volunteer stream monitor!

From May to October, over 180 volunteer stream monitors collect data vital to understanding the health of our streams and rivers across the Rock River Basin. No experience is needed, and all equipment is provided. 

Volunteer Stream Monitoring Workshops in April and May. 

  • Waunakee: Saturday, April 27, 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Watertown: Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. 
  • Clinton: Saturday, May 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
