Permits

Permits are required for any utility maintenance and/or installation work, grading, drainage modifications, and culvert/manure pipe installation within County highway right-of-way. The utility permit application fee is due with the application.  See below for permit fee based on project size. Credit Cards are accepted by phone. There is a 2.65% fee.

The Dodge County Moving Permit is for moving any oversize/overweight item on Dodge County roads (i.e., CTH A, CTH B, etc.). See below for fee cost and application. Credit Cards are accepted by phone. There is a 2.65% fee. Completed permits can be emailed or faxed (920-386-3525) and payment must be received at least one week prior to move.

Permits are required for new driveway installations or removals, driveway use change, modifications to existing driveways including paving driveways, temporary driveways, and drain tile installations in highway right-of-way.

Highway access applications are not available online. The property owner must meet with Highway Department personnel to review the request on site at which time the application will be completed. Please call us at 920-386-3650 to schedule an appointment. 

If paying by check, the fee is due at the time the application is completed. Credit cards are accepted by phone only; they cannot be taken on site. There is a 2.65% fee or $3.00 minimum.

The Dodge County Highway Department can now process fees online. Please contact the highway department directly with any questions or if you are unsure of which fees you should be paying.
