Clerk of Courts

The Courthouse is located within the Dodge County Justice Facility at 210 W. Center St. in Juneau, Wis.

Persons entering the Dodge County Justice Facility will be submitted to a weapons search by going through a metal detector similar to those used at airports. Handbags, briefcases and packages will also be scanned. Unauthorized objects will be held at the security counter and may be reclaimed as you depart the building.

The Justice Facility and all offices are handicapped accessible for the public and its employees.

Upon request, interpreters may be obtained for persons having court cases; this includes hearing impaired, sign language, and numerous foreign languages.

The office of the Clerk of Circuit Court is established by Wisconsin State Constitution and the Clerk is elected by the residents of Dodge County for a four year term. The Clerk maintains records of all documents filed with the court, keeps a record of court proceedings, and collects, disburses and reconciles monies related to court cases. The Clerk of Circuit Court is a key player in the implementation of court automation, has responsibility for jury management, and is fiscally responsible for millions of dollars in fees, fines and forfeitures paid through the clerk's office annually.

Additionally, Administrative Services staff coordinates and manage the safe-keeping of all funds ordered held in trust by the circuit court.

Justice Facility Technology Equipment/Services

The Dodge County Courts provides many technology enhancements to assist and meet the current needs and demands within our judicial environment. Listed below are the technology services available to meet the needs of Dodge County’s Justice Facility.

• Wireless Internet Service Available (Public Use Permitted)
• Video Conferencing is available via both IP and ISDN
• Teleconferencing
• Mobile overhead projector/document display unit with VCR and DVD.  It is able to connect to the video port on a mobile computer to project on the courtroom video screen.
• Information Kiosk located within the main entrance of the Judicial Building
