The Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program is a community based psychosocial rehabilitation program designed to provide a wide variety of case management services, as well as assistance in accessing a variety of other community services and support.
The CCS program provides services to children, adolescents, adults and the elderly who have a diagnosis of a mental illness or a substance abuse disorder, and who also have Medical Assistance benefits.
The focus of the CCS program is on empowering individuals to take an active role in their own treatment and recovery process. Services are individual-centered and directed, which means the individual has a choice in the selection of those on their Recovery Team, what services they receive, and who provides the services.
Services Include:
- Psychiatric medication prescription, administration, monitoring and education.
- Psychiatric symptom management and crisis prevention.
- Case management services to assist with accessing community resources.
- Assistance in learning and maintaining skills for achieving independence in a community setting.
- Education and skill development training services.
