Children
There are a number of services available to adults in Dodge County. Below is a short explanation of what population each division serves:
Child Protective Services — This program's mission is to protect children and unborn children, and when appropriate, strengthen family life through assisting parents in fulfilling their responsibilities.
Children with Disabilities — This program works with clients to obtain services through Children’s Long Term Support (CLTS), Family Support, and also provide information referral services for families that have children with disabilities.
Foster Care — This program provides children with a temporary home and family when their parents or guardians are unable to meet their needs and keep them safe.
Women, Infants, Children (WIC) — WIC is a special supplemental food program for women, infants, and children to help keep families healthy and strong. WIC serves those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum, as well as infants and children up to age five. Foster parents and relatives may also apply on behalf of an infant or child in their care.
Youth Justice — Youth Justice operates under the direction of the Wisconsin State Statute 938 (Juvenile Justice Code) and deals with children who are delinquent, truant and uncontrollable.
