Second Half Real Estate Taxes Due 7/31/18
County Treasurer Strongly Suggests Early Mailing
- Date: -
Juneau, WI – July 1, 2019 – Dodge County Treasurer, Patti Hilker strongly suggests you mail your 2nd installment real estate payment to Dodge County as soon as possible to insure your timely payment. The US Postal Service recommends mailing 1st Class mail at least 7 days prior to the due date to ensure on-time delivery. Hilker says “Dodge County mail is routed through Milwaukee, and no longer automatically postmarked at the local post offices. Should you put your payment envelope in the mail locally, it will go to Milwaukee and be postmarked as they get to it there, which could cause it to be postmarked late, even though you mailed it here on time.”
